Memories

Two little chipmunks

In the windy city of Chicago
On a cold winter day
Two little chipmunks
Decided it was time to tango

The doctors said twin A was born
But the other did not want to be B
So he decided that it was time
That he too was to them known

One chipmunk was as his father calm
He fed and he slept and he smiled
The other was little tiny
And needed some of his mother’s balm

The parents dote on the chipmunks
While the mother teaches them all the pranks
The grandparents are full of pride
And the Father helps them get their spunk

The sister her love for them overflows
They are her brothers, the two little chipmunks
For her they are precious and so cherished
Her heart is so full of love for them that it glows

The aunt and uncle are gleeful
Are blessed and in a state of bliss
On the being of the little chipmunks
For they now have three little jewels for whom to be thankful

Born in the windy city of Chicago
On a cold winter day
Two little chipmunks
Have now decided it is time to make their parents tango
